In the Sorrow: A Lenten Journey of Presence and Play
February 22 – April 5, 2025
This Lent, we're exploring what it means to enter sorrow with compassion, creativity, and courage. Drawing from the Gospel of Luke we are invited to reimagine evangelism not as recruitment, but as ministry of consolation, being present in grief, confusion, and transformation.
Through six Sunday gatherings plus Holy Week morning prayer, we'll walk alongside Jesus as he refuses to turn away from pain, teaches his disciples to choose compassion over revenge, and ultimately faces the cross in subversion and profound humanity.
