What we believe
Our Sunday Gatherings
Our Gatherings are simple, liturgical, and focused on building community.
Here’s what you can expect:
🎶 Songs lead us in praise and reflection.
📚 Liturgy call and response ground us in a shared experience confessing where we have fallen short and celebrating the redemptive work of the Kindom and Jesus’ incarnational presence in all of us.
🔄 Teaching and Shared Stories is rooted in Scripture, inspiring and practical. Shared stories, during certain seasons of the year we engage in small and large group conversations where folks are
🥖 🍷 Communion Every week, we celebrate the Lord’s Table, a sacred act of unity and remembrance.
We come together as a family to celebrate the life of Jesus, and everyone is invited to bring their unique gifts to the table. Whether you're a longtime believer or just dipping your toes into faith, you’re welcome to join in!
Communion at Trinity
At Trinity, communion is an important weekly tradition. It’s a time for all of us to reflect on Christ's love and sacrifice and to be united as one body in faith.
🤲🏽 Open Communion: We invite everyone to participate, regardless of your background or faith journey.
🍃 A Sacred Moment: We see this time as more than a ritual. It’s a chance for deep connection with God and one another.
🌾🚫 Gluten-Free: Not allergen-free, please be mindful.
🍇🍷 Juice: not wine
Communion isn’t just about the bread and wine (juice), it’s a chance to remember Christ’s work and celebrate the love that binds us together as a church family.
Families & Kids
Recognizing that we are all a part of the body, younger children and youth are welcome in the Gathering. Materials for toddlers (and adults) are available in activity trays on tables. We understand that younger children will be heard, and there is no need to worry about their vocal contributions.
Kids Ministry (Ages K-5th):
🎶 Kids stay in the Gathering for the first half (music, liturgy, community spotlights).
👩🏻🏫 👦🏾🧒🏻 To kick off "Passing of the Peace," kids are lead, with their teacher(s), to their own ministry space.
⛪️ Kids' Ministry meets in the Stained Glass Room (sometimes outside when the weather is amazing).
🧑🧒 Adults are welcome to accompany their child until they feel at home in their ministry space.
Youth Ministry (6th-12th Grades)
Our youth have their own groups outside of the Gathering. Middle school and high school youth currently meet Sunday mornings after the Gathering until 12:00pm.
Beliefs and Practices
📖 Trinity’s mission is to foster a haven of belonging where wanderers and wonderers gather to discover and embody the love of Jesus in the world.
